The photography of some types of birds of great interest cannot be carried out in conventional fixed hides or feeding and drinking places. Excellent results can be obtained, however, through the use of other photographic techniques such as stalking in a vehicle. Around Cantalejo where there is a large population of Larks, we survey the countryside whilst driving slowly through it. The photographer is seated the back of the vehicle and should follow the guide´s.

Several perches will have been placed strategically in Larks territory. The guide will be aware of the perches and the position of the sun at all times. The area has a dense population of Larks including various species of Iberian Larks, the only exception being the Lesser Short-toed Lark. There is a strong likelihood of observing Dupont´s Lark, mainly due to the guides´ knowledge of both the Lark´s habitat and behaviour.
